Every time someone successfully steals the word, the price for the NEXT person increases. You might hold the spot for a whole day, or someone with a bigger ego might steal it 10 seconds later.
Every single day at midnight (UTC), the steal price automatically resets back to its minimum. However, your word will remain on the homepage until someone actually buys it at the new reset price!
Past owners aren't forgotten. Every successful purchase is permanently recorded on the blockchain (just kidding, it's a database) and displayed in the Hall of Fame.
